Arthur S. Mintz

Partner

Over a 35-year span as CEO of a successful apparel company, Mr. Mintz acquired a deep knowledge of apparel manufacturing, global sourcing and statutory compliance. He founded a company that specialized in flame retardant children’s sleepwear and robes that were supplied to major US retailers and required compliance to CPSC guidelines for flammability testing and traceability. As part of this work, Mr. Mintz worked with textile mills, accessories and trim suppliers and independent laboratories to develop the required statutory protocols.

Following the sale of his company in 2006, Mr. Mintz served as a consultant to apparel manufacturers and food industry manufacturers focusing on statutory compliance with the various federal laws, including compliance with CPSC guidelines for apparel and FSMA guidelines for the food industry. His work with client companies includes ongoing reviews of plant and outside sub-contractor facilities to ensure that the controls, policies and procedures are in place and sustainable.

Mr. Mintz also served on the Board of Directors of Cache, a NASDAQ listed ladies specialty retailer for 10 years.

Mr. Mintz received his BBA from the George Washington University.
